Danny and Drew National Scholarship Essay Contest

Danny and Drew are pleased to announce we are holding a national “Danny and Drew Essay Contest”. The essay winner selected will receive a $1500 scholarship.

The team at Danny and Drew are committed to supporting students in their educational path and aims to provide additional funds for students to help them realize their dreams.

Twice yearly for the spring and fall academic semester, Danny and Drew will select and award one scholarship winner a $1500 scholarship.


US Citizens currently enrolled in an accredited American university or college.


Any student who fits the eligibility requirements listed above can apply for the Danny and Drew scholarship. To enter student must submit a 300-500 word essay on one of the following topics:

  • Advantages of renting versus owning during your college years.
  • What real estate rental income opportunities could mean to you as a college student.

For submission, simply email your essay as an attachment in PDF or Word format, including your full name, school you will be attending, current major and contact information to


The essay submission deadline is 12:00 midnight EST June 1st for the academic school year. Essays will then be reviewed by the Danny and Drew Scholarship Committee and the winner will be announced on the Danny and Drew website on August 1st. The winner will also be notified via email.


The Danny and Drew Scholarship Committee will review all essays received and one winner will be chosen for the academic school year. Once the winner has been determined, the winner will be announced on the Danny and Drew website. The Danny and Drew Scholarship Committee will also notify the winner via email.


The scholarship funds awarded are to be used for tuition and books only. Once awarded, a check will be written to the recipient to be used for academic costs. Scholarship is non-renewable and is only good for one semester cycle. Recipients are only eligible to receive the scholarship once during their lifetime.
